Nos opportunités de volontariat au Japon sont axées sur les échanges culturels ainsi que le développement personnel afin de faciliter l’apprentissage par l’immersion et la découverte. Vous en apprendrez plus sur l’histoire du pays, ainsi que sur sa religion, ses croyances sociétaires, et son avancement technologique, et pourrez comparer cette expérience avec la vie en France.
Vous aurez également la chance de déguster la cuisine traditionnelle japonaise : savourez un curry katsu – sucré mais épicé –, goûtez aux saveurs naturelles d'un bol de riz donburi, essayez des sushis frais faits à la main et détendez-vous avec un thé vert matcha.

Where we are based in Japan
Tokyo
Considered the largest city on Earth with a population of 37 million, the capital city of Tokyo is a sprawling megacity in a huge bay on the Pacific coast of Japan. It is home to skyscrapers, shrines, parks, and shops as far as the eye can see, along with the busiest train station in the world, Shinjuku.
The city centre is made up of 23 ‘special wards’ with their own unique vibe like fashion, food, culture, and more. It’s no surprise that there’s so much to see and do here, given that Tokyo has more people than 150 countries!
Kyoto
The ancient capital of Japan from 794 to 1868, Kyoto is a charming, low-rise city steeped in history and culture. Located towards the south of the main island, Honshu, Kyoto has the most shrines of any city in Japan and is famous for traditional arts and historical preservation.
Wander the streets to find traditional wooden townhouses, artisan markets, and peaceful parks. Despite the history, Kyoto has an efficient transport system and modern entertainment, like arcades, karaoke, and manga cafes.
Osaka
Just south of Kyoto lies the “food and nightlife capital” of Japan, Osaka. Famous for takoyaki, okonomiyaki, and kushikatsu, along with the flashing lights and electric air of Dotonbori and Amerikamura, here you can unwind and enjoy flavours unlike anything you’ve tried before.
Osaka is the second-largest city in Japan, with the picturesque Osaka castle at its heart. Explore stunning streets, gaze across the city skyline, and lose yourself in the sprawling shopping complex beneath the surface.
